How we check businesses

What the seal means

The KreoConfianza seal means that a person on our team has checked that the business exists and that whoever signed it up is in control of it. Each seal shows how we checked it and when.

The seal is not a recommendation. It does not guarantee the quality of the products or services, the financial standing of the business, or that it has no complaints.

What we check

• That the business exists.
• That whoever signs it up is in control of it.
• If they are self-employed, that their tax number (NIF) is correctly formed. If it is a company, we look up its tax number (CIF) in the official register. We never publish it in full.

The check is limited to the method shown on the seal and to what could be seen on the date it was carried out.

What we do not check

We do not check or guarantee:

• the quality of its products or services;
• its financial standing or its economic or tax situation;
• that it has no complaints, lawsuits or disputes;
• that its customers are satisfied;
• that it meets all its legal obligations.

The seal does not replace any checks that anyone may wish to make before hiring a business.

How we check

Today it is done by a person, business by business, using one of these methods:

1. Its Google listing. We review the business’s public Google listing and check that it matches what the person signing it up has given us.
   • What it shows: that the business has a public presence consistent with its details.
   • What it does not show: who its legal owner is.
2. Its website. We review the business’s website and check that it matches what we have been given.
   • What it shows: that the details on the website and those in the sign-up match.
   • What it does not show: the legal ownership of the business, or that everything its website says is accurate.

Date and validity

Each seal shows the method and the date of the check. The check refers to what could be seen on that date.

When a seal is removed

We may remove a seal if:

• the check turns out to be wrong;
• we find false or contradictory details;
• the business no longer exists or the details no longer belong to it;
• the business asks us to;
• there are signs that it is being misused.

Removal is always decided by a person, with a reason, never by a machine. We let the business know first, unless there is a risk to others.

If the owner of a business tells us that someone has signed it up without their permission, a person reviews it and, if there is a risk to others, we take the page down without prior notice.

Removing a seal is not, in itself, an opinion about the business.

Corrections and complaints

If you see a detail that is wrong, or you think a business is on KreoConfianza without its owner’s permission, write to us at soporte@kreoweb.io. Tell us which page is affected, which detail you think is wrong and, if you can, where it comes from.

We review it and, where appropriate, correct the detail, repeat the check or remove the seal.

Reviews

Who can leave a review

• Someone who has used the business's service. They tell us the date of the service, and only services from the last 30 days are accepted.
• For it to count, they confirm it themselves on WhatsApp with a code we give them. Without that confirmation, it is deleted after 24 hours.
• One review per person and business per year.
• We do not keep their phone number: only a fingerprint (a code from which the number cannot be recovered) used to check the above.

What is published

• All confirmed reviews, good and bad, without picking by stars.
• If a review contains personal details (a phone number, an email, a link) or an insult, it is not published automatically: a person on our team reviews it.
• A review is never published if more than 30 days have passed since the service.
• Each review shows the reviewer's first name and the month of the service.
• We do not ask only happy customers for reviews: the business shares the same link or QR code with everyone.

What the business can do

• Reply to a review. Their reply is published below it.
• It cannot delete or change reviews.
• If it believes a review is fake, it can ask for it to be removed and explain why. Meanwhile, the review stays published.

When a review is removed

• Only if it contains personal details or insults, or if it is shown to be fake.
• It is always decided by a person on our team, never by an automatic system or by the business, and the reason is recorded.

Independence

KreoConfianza is a service from KreoWeb, which builds and looks after websites for businesses.

• Being a KreoWeb customer does not give a business the seal or make it easier to get.
• We apply the same rules to every business, whether or not it is a KreoWeb customer.

Privacy

• We only publish what is needed to identify the business and explain how we checked it.
• We never publish the tax number (NIF) of a self-employed person. For a company, only part of its CIF.
• Everything else is in our privacy policy.
